what to expect/frequently asked questions

Welcome to our church community in West Pensacola. We would be honored to have you visit one of our life-giving services. Please contact us with any additional questions you have.

  • WHAT ARE YOUR WEEKEND SERVICES LIKE

Each weekend at Brownsville Assembly you'll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music and a practical, relevant message. You'll also find our monthly newsletter upon entering that will help you make the most of each month's events. Children are well-cared for in a loving, quality nursery and fun-filled "Mighty Ones" kids service.

  • WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I VISIT FOR THE FIRST TIME?

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and "be anonymous" for a while- and that is fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you!

  • WHAT DO I WEAR TO ATTEND YOUR SERVICES?

You'll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Weekend services. Come in what is comfortable for you!

  • WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Brownsville Assembly is located in South West Pensacola, just a few miles west of the beautiful Downtown area. We have 1 Sunday morning service at 10:30 AM. We are an Assemblies of God affiliated church and we believe you will LOVE our Sunday services.

  • WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?

At Brownsville Assembly, your children are a top priority. Our nurseries are CLEAN, safe and staffed with loving workers. We have a dynamic children's ministry called Mighty Ones  as well as life-changing ministries for students from junior high through high school.

  • HOW CAN I MEET OTHERS AND GET CONNECTED?

There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by attending our GROWTH TRACK. Small Groups are another way to get connected. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.

  • HOW CAN I BE DISCIPLED AND GROW?

Our desire is to see you "move from where you are to where God wants you to be". Our Next Steps classes offer the tools necessary to make this happen in your life. You can begin the process at any step in our Next Steps.

  • HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED IN A SMALL GROUP?

Small Groups are an important part of Radiant Church; in fact, you haven't fully experienced the church until you have experience our small groups. Our Radiant Groups run in 3 different semesters (Spring, Summer, Fall). The Spring and Fall semester are 12 weeks long and the summer semester is 6 weeks long. You can find more information about the groups available by visiting our ONLINE DIRECTORY.
